Can we talk about the mess a hail storm left on my roof last month?

Last month's storm over near Coors and Montano put golf ball sized dents in my roof and tore off part of the flashing. I spent two days patching what I could with tarps and roofing cement from the Ace on 4th while I waited on the insurance guy. Ended up getting the whole thing replaced, about $8,400 after insurance chipped in. Has anyone else had luck fighting the adjuster over the full replacement cost, or am I stuck eating the difference?
