Warning: I walked past the collapsed food court at Rolling Acres for 3 visits before I saw what I was missing
I always shot malls from the main concourse because that is where the light is best, but at Rolling Acres in Akron the real story was the back hallway by the old service doors. On my fourth trip I finally turned left past the dead Sears and found employee time cards still punched in from March 2004, plus a wall of hand written shift notes nobody ever cleaned out. I was so busy chasing the big anchor stores that I missed the small stuff that actually tells you who worked there. Anyone else skip the boring back halls at first and regret it later?
