My first solo trip into the abandoned Sunrise Plaza

I finally made it inside after thinking about it for ages. Standing in the empty atrium, I could almost hear the echoes of past crowds.

That atrium has loose tiles near the old fountain, I mean be careful walking around.

How long has that been a problem over there? Those gaps can get way worse once water gets under them, especially near a fountain. Seems like the kind of thing that should have been fixed ages ago, not just left for people to trip on. Did anyone ever report it to the building managers, or do they just not care? Makes you wonder what else they're ignoring if they let something that obvious go.

Ugh that reminds me of the sidewalk by my old apartment. It had a crack that got bigger every winter from the freeze and thaw. The city kept saying they'd fix it but never did, and one day my neighbor actually twisted her ankle bad. It's crazy how they just ignore stuff until someone gets hurt.
